A brief historical note is included discussing the need for a new Constitution, the original debates, and the ratification process. Additionally, there is a section detailing the Amendments to the Constitution and each amendments ratification information. There is also a section on the six amendments that were submitted to the States and not ratified. Finally, there is an extensive index to the Constitution and Amendments.
